Go boating

As Georgia’s second-largest lake, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy Lake Oconee with family members of all ages. Take a swim

Also, don’t miss the documentary tribute to Georgia Power’s Wallace Dam and Lake Oconee reservoir.

Eat lakeside

Part of our Boathouse Marina is The Boathouse Restaurant, which is open during the summer months. It’s one of Lake Oconee’s only “boat-up” eateries where you can not only fuel up your watercraft but yourself too with cold drinks, tasty snacks, and mouthwatering meals. You can eat inside, outside on the deck, or on the grand lawn — all offer gorgeous views of the lake. Or, if you come by boat, feel free to order your meals to-go so you can have a picnic out on the water.
