The Lickskillet Artist Market and Festival
Day: October 22
Time: 10am-4pm
Where: Lyndon House Arts Center, 293 Hoyt Street, Athens
Details: This is a unique artists market and festival for the whole family. It is an exciting indoor/outdoor event that features eclectic wares for sale and demonstrations by artists, live music, children’s art activities, food vendors and tours of the historic Ware-Lyndon House. Movies on the Courthouse Lawn – Showing “Goosebumps”

Time: 8:30pm
Where: Putnam County Courthouse Lawn

The Briar Patch Arts Festival
Day: October 29
Time: 9am-3pm
Where: Downtown Eatonton
Details: Specialty arts and crafts vendors will be showcasing handmade soaps, photography, paintings, jewelry, pottery, wood working, handmade glassware, clothing, potted plants, children’s items and much more. Madison Haunted History Tours
Days: Every Friday and Saturday night through November 12
Time: 7:30pm
Where: Madison Methodist Church parking lot, 285 South Main Street
Admission: Adults $15/ea., kids under 12 are $10/ea. (Not recommended for children under 8.)
Details: Enjoy an evening stroll through the shadows of Madison and listen to tales of hauntings and local legends along with a heaping helping of local history. Reservations are required in advance through North Georgia Tours. More info
Golf Cart Trunk or Treat
Day: October 29
Time: 12-2pm
Where: The Stables at Harbor Club
Details: Our annual trick or treat event includes family fun for all residents of Harbor Club. Decorate your golf carts, dress in your favorite costumes and drive over to the Stables to show off your creativity. Don’t forget to bring some candy to share with the kids for cart-to-cart trick or treat! Inside the Stables we’ll have games, spooktacular treats, activities and more.
Downtown Trick or TreatDay: October 31
Time: 5-7pm
Where: Downtown Greensboro
Details: Little ghouls and goblins are invited to Greensboro for Downtown Trick or Treat this Halloween. Downtown merchants — many in costume — will offer a trick or treat for children 12 and under. Children should begin their visit to town at the Greene County Court House where they will be given an official trick or treat bag and a snack. All children should be escorted by an adult. The Greensboro Police Department will be on hand to ensure fun and safety for all.
