The Boathouse Marina and Restaurant
Every Harbor Club homeowner and member gains easy access to Lake Oconee through the Boathouse amenity. It offers a full-service marina and seasonal restaurant right on the lake. There are several options for boat storage, including dry stack. Our knowledgeable marina manager, Jerry Cash, and his team are readily available to help get your boat safely on the lake in no time.
Water sports
And since our community is located directly on Lake Oconee, there are so many other fun activities for families to enjoy that come with boating – things like tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. Of course, there are others to enjoy too, like jet skiing or quieter, more calming water sports, like kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, rowing, and canoeing.
Music
Everyone enjoys our free, live music events during the summer and early fall at The Boathouse. Dine on some delicious food and drinks at the restaurant, hang out and chat with friends by the fire pit, dance on the lawn, or simply chill out on your boat — all while being entertained by talented singers and musicians. Our lakefront golf course is masterfully located alongside Lake Oconee, making a game at Harbor Club as gratifying as it is engaging. Our course touches the shoreline of Lake Oconee on six different holes. It also skirts four creeks and offers several renowned Weiskopf-Morrish Risk Reward holes. Go fish
Lake Oconee is known for its plentiful largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. What’s more, our Harbor Club community has several large ponds stocked with fish. So, no matter whether you drop a line in the lake or a pond, you’re bound to go home with a prize fish – or at the very least, some great tales to tell.
Swim
When it comes to a refreshing dip, you’ve got options at Harbor Club. First, of course, you can jump in Lake Oconee’s cool water. However, if you’re more of a pool person, we’ve got a crystal clear, junior Olympic-sized option for you. But for the most fun on the lake, you must visit The Sandbar or Jumping Rock. Both are hidden gems on Lake Oconee that are the perfect swimming spots for creating fun memories.
Awarded Best Lake Community
We’re still proud of being awarded “Best Lake Community of the Year” by Real Estate Scorecard. They determine the “best of the best” communities based on genuine happiness and the highest quality of life experienced at each.
