One of the events that Harbor Club members look forward to most each year is Christmas Dinner at The Clubhouse. Warm and festive gatherings such as these are what make our Southern Living-Inspired Community so distinctive. Friends and neighbors come together at the Clubhouse to celebrate the holiday with fine, chef-prepared food and drinks. And while the dress is formal (black-tie optional), the mood is one that is fun, relaxed, and cheerful.

This year, our Harbor Club members get to indulge in a delicious, four-course dinner, specially prepared by our very own Chef Gregory Thigpen. Each dish comes with a recommended wine pairing that perfectly complements the cuisine. The menu includes a starter, a salad, a choice of two different entrees, and two different desserts. The 2019 menu (shown below) is one that has inspired a lot of enthusiasm amongst Harbor Club members.

Spanakopita, complemented with a Spiced Bechamel Sauce

Paired with: a Mumm Champagne

Salad:

Candied Georgia Pecan Micro Green Salad with an Apple Vinaigrette

This year, the Harbor Club Member Christmas Dinner will be held on Friday, December 6. The cocktail hour begins at 5:30 pm, and dinner commences at 6:30 pm. The cost is $65 per person, and it includes four courses and four wine pairings. Tables of four or eight were available, but as of this writing, we just discovered that this event is now completely sold out. If you are a Harbor Club member and were not able to RSVP in time, please don’t despair. It’s rare but sometimes cancelations do occur. Contact us at The Clubhouse Restaurant and ask Jody to see if any last-minute spots have become available.

If you’re not a Harbor Club member yet, then how come? There’s so much more that comes with a Harbor Club membership beyond fantastic golf. With easy access to Lake Oconee, tennis, pickleball, a refreshing pool, all the amenities at The Grove, and fun social events (such as our annual Christmas Dinner), it can’t hurt to inquire about options. Learn about our memberships, and feel free to reach out to Mika Mills with any questions. She’s happy to help.

We wish everyone much goodwill, happiness, and a joyous holiday season.
